Women's Fellowship regularly meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6 pm. Our major activity is the Annual Turkey Dinner fundraiser, which is held early in November each year. Among other activities, we make lap quilts that are donated to nursing homes, shelters, police department, etc.

We usually have a Spring Ladies' Tea and a Christmas Ladies' Tea each year. (There were no Christmas Teas in 2018 or 2019 - we went Christmas Caroling instead.)

Due to the COVID-19 situation, we did not meet after March 2020, no Ladies' Tea was held, and we had to cancel the Turkey Dinner. We'll let you know when we start having meetings again. All ladies are invited to join us. We plan to work on a new batch of lap quilts! You don't need to be a seamstress to help!

Annual Turkey Dinner and Bazaar Fundraiser - November 10, 2018

This year's turkey dinner fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 10. Dinner includes homemade turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, turnips, green beans, cole slaw, cranberry salad, dinner rolls, desserts, coffee and tea. Food will be served from 4 - 6 p.m. (or until the food runs out). Meal prices are Adults $9 and kids under 12 $5.

On Friday, November 9, we will be doing preparation for the dinner at church.

We will have for sale at our bazaar hand crafted items, baked goods and other food items, cookbooks, etc.

Quilt raffle tickets are $1 each. The first prize quilt is a beautiful hand cross-stitched, hand-quilted creation made by Margaret Fleming, a St. Matthew's member who passed away in 2008. It will fit a twin size bed or larger bed with a bed skirt.

Second prize is a lovely smaller quilt in beautiful blue, machine quilted with design.
